If you’ve been around here for a while, you might’ve seen these posts: VoxBox Unboxing: Dr. Brandt Edition and Dr. Brandt Influenster VoxBox Skin Care Hits and Misses. So here we are, way later and I finally finished the Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Sleep Recovery Mask!
I loved it. After using the whole container, I can honestly say I noticed a difference in my skin when I used it. I used this at night a few times a week, and the next morning I could always see and feel a difference in my skin! This stuff is expensive, but it’s worth it.
The claims according to Dr. Brandt’s Website:

After 1 Use:

My Final Thoughts on the Claims:
This mask definitely feels hydrating and I’d agree with the claims that it locks in moisture for 72 hours because I never felt the need to use it every night. I used it about every 3-5 nights because my skin felt hydrated and plump so I never had to use it every night, not even during our super dry winters here in Pennsylvania.
I’d also 100% agree with the reports that after 1 use redness was reduced and immediate hydration. I don’t have too much redness, but on occasion my cheeks would be a little red and after a night with this sleeping mask on my redness was definitely reduced.
I also found that my skin felt plump and smooth after one use, too. I know that claim is listed as “4 weeks of use” but for me, I noticed it sooner. My skin definitely felt smoother, hydrated, and had diminished any redness. The only claim I can’t speak to is the itchiness claim because my skin has never been itchy. So there’s that.
Earlier I had a gripe with the sleeping mask being $52 because Dr. Brandt’s website said the mask should be enough to last 6-8 weeks. Now I know it would last way longer since I wouldn’t need to use it every day, so I can justify the price point for sure. Overall, I definitely recommend this moisturizer even though the price point seems steep at first glance.
