A few things to note at first:
- The kit includes 3 products: Retail is $69.90
- Olive Oil Facial Cleanser (it cleans your skin without stripping it of natural oils and making your skin feel dry)
- Clear Skin Spray (it calms red, irritated skin, without feeling oily)
- Skin Repair (it’s a serum that helps your skin get back to normal)
- All the products are natural, cruelty-free, and made under international standards of GMP, HACCP, ISO9000 (Fancy way to say they are super high quality).
Now that the details are out of the way, my thoughts about the entire kit after using it for a while. My skin usually has some redness on my cheeks and I can actually say after using the Heal Top Clear Skin Kit the redness has gone away. One thing that caught me off guard a little was the smell. It definitely smells natural, but in a way it smells like eucalyptus (which is one of the ingredients) mixed with lavender (another ingredient), and a hint of trees or nature. Lets put it this way, it kind of smells like old people or one of those natural tiger balms or joint balms. It’s not horrible, it’s not bad, it’s just not the best! But that’s usually the case with natural products – so this isn’t a complaint. It’s just a warning before you buy the product and think it is going to smell like something you want to eat.
The Olive Oil Cleanser
This cleanser feels amazing on the skin (all the products do). I don’t fully know how to explain this, but it did not feel soapy or create foam. It also didn’t feel oily like I expected, it felt more like a thin lotion when I was rubbing it on my face. It took my makeup off with ease, but it didn’t make my skin feel dry or tight (thank goodness because I hate when cleansers do that). Also, it comes in a glass bottle (all the products do) which is nice because for the price point, I want it to feel luxurious – and it does.
Clear Skin Spray
First off, Heal Top mastered the mister on this bottle! It literally sprays out the mist like a dream. A fine mist comes out and it smells the same as all the other products, but it has a slight cooling yet tingling (kind of like a minty feeling but on your face) feeling on the face. I assume that’s from the eucalyptus, and it did not irritate my skin at all. It felt like the perfect veil of moisture being added to my skin. Although, the cleanser did not take any moisture out of my skin, the spray seemed to add just what my skin needed without feeling like an oily mess. I actually think this is my favorite product of the entire kit.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the entire kit and I would purchase it – but this is the product that I like the least. I don’t usually use thick creams or serums because I’m not super fond of how they feel. This serum feels like a thick oil, a little sticky when you first apply it, but that’s normal with all the other serums I’ve tried out. It smells the same as the other products and also comes in a glass bottle, and a little goes a long way. I admit, once it soaks into the skin (maybe 10 minutes or less) you don’t feel it on the skin anymore (which is nice). I chose to only use the serum at night because it just felt like it might be too much during the day.
I love the Heal Top Clear Skin Kit! I would purchase it for sure, and it has made a difference in my skin. It cleared up my redness, and took care of little bumps I would get when my skin would flare up. I know the price point is higher than drugstore products, the fact that this entire kit is natural, cruelty-free, and made to super intense high standards makes me think “Yeah, it’s worth it in the end to have clear, smooth skin.” I actually think this would be a nice gift to get someone who might be struggling with their skin (I plan on buying the kit for a family member).
Also, just so you know, some links in here are affiliate links, but I’d be super grateful if you clicked on them and just checked out the products! You won’t regret it. I’d love it if you could pin this or share this post with friends!
