I recently received the Spark Vox Box from Influenster, let me just say – I wasn’t too excited at first, but now I am!
Here is what was in the Spark Vox Box:
- Live Clean Coconut Milk Moisturizing Body Lotion
- Swisspers 100% Cotton Makeup Removal Wipes
- Pure Silk Contour 6 Razor
- Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Foam Conditioner
- Country Crock with Sunflower Oil Coupon (so you could buy it for free!)
I admit I currently have a shit ton of moitsurizers and I usually hate anything scented with coconut. On that note, I enjoy the smell of this moisturizer, it’s not heavily scented with coconut! Thank God.
Makeup removing wipes are always a good thing. I use them a ton for swatches, accidentally getting makeup on my hands, and obviously for makeup removal. I usually just buy them from Ross or TJ Maxx – which is a hit or miss if they are good or not (but I found the good ones).
I fully plan on taking the makeup wipes on vacation, so I will get back to their performance eventually.
Possibly one of the coolest items in the Spark Vox Box is the Pure Silk Contour 6 Razor. I fully admit I (and my fiancé) use Dollar Shave Club razors. They’re high quality and they don’t break the bank. But I was excited for a new razor to try out, mainly because it’ll be nice and smoothing on my legs for vacation.
Pantene’s Foam Conditioner – which has a name that is way too long. I have super curly hair, typically on the dry end of the spectrum – but not far off from normal to be fair. I usually use the deep conditioning or super moisturizing conditioners because that’s what my hair likes.
Thin conditioners that are meant for people with thin hair or daily use usually don’t do much for me for a few reasons. 1. I don’t wash my hair every day (it’s bad for your hair)! 2. Since I don’t wash my hair everyday, I need a heavy duty conditioner to put as much moisture as possible back into my hair.
On that note, I am excited to use this conditioner (you guessed it) on vacation. Vacation is a different monster for my hair. I get my hair wet in the pool and in the ocean, plus I style my hair every night! Which means I have to wash my hair daily, so I will definitely be using this conditioner daily, even if it’s just in the morning and using a slightly more hydrating conditioner in the evening.
Last, but not least in the Spark Vox Box, is the Country Crock Sunflower Oil spread. I actually used the coupon to buy it at Walmart yesterday! We typically don’t have butter or spreads in the house – it’s just not something we really use. We usually have apple butter, mustard, and hot sauce in our fridge – not butter or cream cheese to be honest. The macros on this butter are not bad though, 100 calories for a serving (and you do not need a full serving of butter for toast). Plus, it was free thanks to the Spark Vox Box and Influenster (everything was sent to me for free to try out) so I picked it up! Why not!
All in all, the Spark Vox Box was different than what I usually receive from Influenster (like skin care), but it came at the perfect time for vacation! I am super thankful to Influenster for sending out the Spark Vox Box to me for free and giving me the chance to review these items.
As always, I will be uploading a Vox Box UnBoxing on my youtube channel here soon & after I use all the products I’ll write a detailed review about everything and make a corresponding video! So you should really sign up for my mailing list to be the first one to know when I upload a new blog post!
